Short title and commencement.- (1) This Act may be called the Karnataka State Rural Development and Panchayat Raj University (Amendment) Act, 2017. (2) It shall come into force at once Sections 15 and 17 are incorporated in the principal Act. KARNATAKA ACT NO.22 OF 2025 (First Published in the Karnataka Gazette Extra-ordinary on the 28th day of March 2025) THE KARNATAKA STATE RURAL DEVELOPMENT AND PANCHAYAT RAJ UNIVERSITY (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2025 (Received the assent of the Governor on the 27th day of March 2025) An Act further to amend the Karnataka State Rural Development and Panchayat Raj University Act, 2016. Whereas, it is expedient further to amend the Karnataka State Rural Development and Panchayat Raj University Act, 2016 (Karnataka Act 16 of 2016) for the purposes hereinafter appearing; Be it enacted by the Karnataka State Legislature in the Seventy sixth year of the Republic of India, as follows:-
