Definitions .- In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires,- (a) "Commission" means the Karnataka State Minorities Commission constituted under section 3 of the Act; (b) "Government" means the Government of Karnataka; (c) "member" means a member of the Commission; (d) "minorities" means the persons belonging to minority communities residing in the State of Karnataka whom the Government has recognised as minorities.
