Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation Board.- (1) There shall be constituted by the Syndicate a Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation Board which shall advice generally on the planning and development of the University and review the standards of education and research in the University. (2) The Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation Board shall consist of the following members, namely:- (a) The Vice Chancellor who shall be the ex-officio Chairman; and (b) not more than eight persons of high academic standing nominated by the Syndicate. (3) The Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation Board shall, in addition to all other powers vested in it by this Act, have the right to advise the Syndicate and the Academic Council on any academic matter. (4) The term of office of the nominated members of the Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation Board shall be three years and shall be eligible for re-nomination for another term.
