Meeting of Academic Council.- (1) The Academic Council shall meet at least once in every three months on the dates to be fixed by the Vice Chancellor. One of such meeting shall be called the annual meeting. (2) One third of the total strength of the members shall be the quorum required for a meeting of the Academic Council; Provided that such quorum shall not be required at a convocation of the University or at the meeting of the Academic Council held for the purpose of conferring degrees, titles, diplomas or other academic distinctions. (3) The Vice Chancellor may whenever he thinks fit, and shall upon a requisition in writing signed by not less than fifty percent of the total members of the Academic Council, convene a special meeting of the Academic Council.
