Powers of the Commission.- The Commission shall while investigating /enquiring any matter under section 8, have all the powers of civil court trying a suit under the code of civil procedure 1908, and in particular in respect of the following matters, namely:- (i) summoning and enforcing the attendance of any person from any part of the state and examining him on oath. (ii) discovery and production of any documents and witness. (iii) receiving any evidence on affidavits. (iv) requisitioning for any public record or copy there of from any court or office, (v) any other matter which may be prescribed. 6 CHAPTER - IV FINANCE, ACCOUNTS AND AUDIT
