Short title and commencement.- (1) This Act may be called the Karnataka State Commission for Safai Karmacharis Act, 2012. (2) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification, appoint. This Act has came into force w.e.f. 12.05.2014. by Notification No. ¸ÀPÀE 80 J¸ïr¹ 2014, Dated: 12.05.2014. (See the text of the notification at the end of the Act)
