Repeal of Karnataka Ordinance No. 19 of 2020 and savings STATEMENT OF OBJECTS AND REASONS ACT 41 OF 2020.- It is considered necessary to repeal the Karnataka State Civil Services (Regulation of transfer of staff of Department of Collegiate Education) Act, 2012 (Karnataka Act 06 of 2013) to remove the difficulties and hurdles occurred in implementation of the said Act and it is decided to frame rules in this regard under the Karnataka State Civil Services Act, 1978 (Karnataka Act 14 of 1990). As the matter was urgent and both Houses of the State Legislature were not in a session, The Karnataka State Civil Services (Regulation of transfer of staff of Department of Collegiate Education) Ordinance, 2020 (Karnataka Ordinance 19 of 2020) was promulgated to achieve the above object. This Bill seeks to replace the said Ordinance. Hence the Bill. [L.A.
