Teaching and research in the University STATEMENT OF OBJECTS AND REASONS ACT 08 OF 2022 It is a considered necessary to establish a university called the Karnataka State AYUSH University, with headquarters at Shivamogga as a university of excellence in the area of AYUSH systems in the State to meet the increasing complexity of growth and development in the field of AYUSH, to set a standard to perform multiple functions in academics, Research, consultancy, think-tank, training and knowledge dissemination to meet the needs of Government in the field of public health, AYUSH industry, development of medicinal plant resource academia and society at large and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.
