The Dean.-(1) There shall be a Dean for Faculty of AYUSH who shall be the Chief Academic Officer of the Faculty concerned. (2) He shall be appointed by the Vice Chancellor from among the Professors in the University. (3) The procedure for appointment of the Dean, his tenure of office and his powers, functions, duties and responsibilities shall be as provided by the statutes.
