The Pro-Chancellor.- (1) The Pro-Chancellor shall be appointed by the Sponsoring Body, on such terms and conditions as may be laid down in the statutes. The Pro-Chancellor shall assist the Chancellor in all such matters required by the Chancellor. The role and responsibilities or Pro-Chancellor shall be as laid down by Statutes. (2) The Pro-Chancellor shall preside over the Convocation in the absence of the Visitor, Pro-Visitor and Chancellor. (3) The Pro-Chancellor shall chair all the Committees, meetings and convocations in the absence of the Chancellor. (4) The services of the Pro-Chancellor may be terminated by the Chancellor at any point of time as he deems fit.
