Application of the Workmen’s Compensation Act.—The provisions of the Workmen’s Compensation Act, 1923 (Central Act VIII of 1923), as in force on the date of passing of this Act by the State Legislature, Shops and Commercial Establishments [1962: KAR. ACT 8 24 and the rules made thereunder by the State Government for the time being in force shall mutatis mutandis apply to employees and employers of shops and commercial establishments. 1[23. x x x]1
