Short title and commencement.- (1) This Act may be called the Karnataka Service Examinations Act, 1976. 1[(2) This section and all the other sections except section 8 shall be deemed to have come in to force on the First day of November, 1956. Section 8 shall be deemed to have come into force on the eleventh day of April, 1974.]1
