Disqualifications of members.- A person shall be disqualified for being appointed, or for being elected, or nominated as, and for being, a member of the Board or for being a member of any Committee under this Act,- (i) if he directly or indirectly by himself or his partner has any share or interest in any work done by order of, or in any contract entered into on behalf of the Board; (ii) if he is a person against whom an order has been made under sub- section (1) of section 23: Provided that where the order has been made on the ground that such person has been guilty of negligence, the disqualification shall cease to have effect after the expiry of the period specified in the order.
