Power of the Board to make bye-laws

Power of the Board to make bye-laws.- (1) The Board may, by notification, make bye-laws not inconsistent with this Act, the rules and the regulations to provide for all or any of the following matters, namely:- (a) the procedure to be followed at the meetings of the Board and a Committee and the number of members required to form a quorum at such meetings; (b) the travelling and other allowances which may be drawn by members of the Board and a Committee and of persons temporarily associated with the Board or co-opted to a Committee; 1966: KAR. ACT 16] Secondary Education Examination 313 (c) any other matters solely concerning the Board and such committees not provided for by this Act, the rules, or the regulations. (2) No bye-law made under sub-section (1) shall have effect unless approved by the State Government.
