Mysore The Bangalore For section 53, the following section Act No. University shall be substituted, namely:- 26 of 1964. Act, 1964. "53. Eligibility for admission of students.- No student shall be eligible for admission to the University unless he has passed,- (i) the Secondary School Leaving Certificate Examination conducted by the Mysore Education Examination Board; or (ii) any other examination prescribed as equivalent to the examination referred to in clause (i), by the Ordinances or Regulations,and possesses such further qualification, if any, as may be prescribed by the Ordinances or Regulations. ** * * NOTIFICATION I Bangalore, dated 1st October 1966 [ No. ED 177 SMX 66] S.O. 4517.- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 1 of the Mysore Secondary Education Examination Board Act, 1966 (Mysore Act 16 of 1966) the Government of Mysore heeby appoints the fifth day of October 1966 as the date on which the said Act shall come into force.
