Section 11

Removal from membership

Removal from membership.- (1) The State Government may, on the recommendation of the Board, remove any member of the Board or a Committee, if he has been convicted by a court of law of any offence involving moral turpitude, or if he has been guilty of scandalous conduct. (2) No recommendation for the removal of any member shall be made by the Board unless the person concerned has been given a reasonable opportunity of being heard. (3) The name of any member who has been removed from the Board or a Committee under sub-section (1) shall be published in the official Gazette.
