Functions of the Standing Committee .- The Standing Committee shall perform the following functions, namely :- (a) review of the implementation of the provisions of this Act and the rules made thereunder as far as possible twice a year; (b) suggest measures for the removal of difficulties in such implementation or for the improvement thereof; and (c) such other functions as the State Government may, from time to time, assign to the Committee.
