Power to make regulations STATEMENT OF OBJECTS AND REASONS I ACT 38 OF 2020.- Sarvajna was an greatest ancient Poet and Social Reformer of the ancient Karnataka and he was born in Abalur of Hirekerur Taluk in Haveri District. Therefore, it is considered necessary to establish an Authority for the development and maintenance of the SarvajnaKshetra including the place of birth of Sarvajna and other places situated in and around Hierekerur, Abalur and Masur of Hirekerur Taluk, Haveri District into international pilgrim and tourist Centre.
