Obligation to perform the examination work.- (1) Any person who is entrusted with the examination work relating to paper setting, invigilation, supervision, evaluation, conduct of practical examinations, printing of question papers and answer books, tabulation and preparation of marks cards and all such activities incidental thereto and connected therewith shall discharge such duties prudently and with utmost integrity for attainment of the academic standards. (2) If any person who has been allotted the examination work under sub-section (1) is found guilty of breach of duties or involves in any misbehaviour, shall on conviction be punished with imprisonment for a period which may extend to three years or with a fine up to two thousand rupees or with both; (3) No court shall take cognizance of an offence punishable under this section or the abetment of any such offence save on the complaint made by the Registrar (Evaluation).
