The Registrar.- (1) The Registrar shall be a whole time Officer of the University. The Government may appoint an Officer belonging to the Karnataka Administrative Services of senior scale and above to be the Registrar of a University. (2) The Registrar shall be the ex-officio Member Secretary of the Syndicate and the Academic Council and member of the Finance Committee. (3) The Registrar may be assisted by one or more Deputy Registrars and Assistant Registrars. 13
