Application of provisions of section 169 and 170 of the Karnataka Police Act.- The provisions of section 169 and 170 of the Karnataka Police Act, 1963 (Karnataka Act 4 of 1964) shall apply to acts done in good faith by the vigilance officers under this Act as if the vigilance officer is a police officer within the meaning of that Act.
