Repeal and savings .- (1) The Karnataka Prevention of Dangerous Activities of Bootleggers, Drug-offenders, Gamblers, Goondas, Immoral Traffic Offenders and Slum grabbers Ordinance, 1984 (Karnataka Ordinance 16 of 1984) is hereby repealed. Whereas it is expedient further to amend the Karnataka Prevention of Dangerous Activities of Boot-Leggers, Drug-offenders, Gamblers, Goondas, Immoral Traffic Offenders and Slum-grabbers Act, 1985 (Karnataka Act 12 of 1985) for the purposes hereinafter appearing; Be it enacted by the Karnataka State Legislature in the Sixtieth year of the Republic of India as follows:-
