Reserve police officer to be a police officer.—Except as specifically provided in this Chapter, every Reserve Police Officer shall for all purposes be deemed to be a police 97 officer as defined in section 2, and the provisions of this Act shall except in so far as they are inconsistent with the provisions of this Chapter apply to every such Reserve Police Officer.
