Compounding of offences.- A summary enquiry may be conducted by the Oil Palm Commissioner into an offence committed which is punishable under this Act and order may be 10 passed imposing penalty by way of compounding of offence a sum not exceeding Rupees Fifty thousand. The Oil Palm Commissioner may authorize a subordinate official to collect the amount of penalty. The Penalty so collected shall be remitted in the PD account under Oil Palm Project.
