Refusal of registration and removal and re-entry of names

Refusal of registration and removal and re-entry of names.- (1) Subject to such conditions as may be prescribed, the Council may, after giving an opportunity to the person concerned to be heard in his defence and after holding an inquiry in the prescribed manner, refuse to enter in the register the name of any person or may order the removal of the name of such person from the register. (2) The order passed under sub-section (1) shall be in writing and shall be served on the person concerned in the prescribed manner. (3) The Council may direct that the name of any person against whom an order under sub-section (1) has been passed shall be entered or re-entered in the register, as the case may be.
