Nadaprabhu Kempegowda Heritage Area Development Authority.- (1) As soon as may be, after the commencement of this Act, there shall be constituted for the purpose of this Act, an Authority to be called the Nadaprabhu Kempegowda Heritage Area Development Authority. (2) The Authority shall have its headquarters at Bengaluru. (3) The Authority shall be a body corporate by the name aforesaid, having perpetual succession and a common seal with power to acquire, hold and dispose of property, both movable and immovable, and enter into contract, and shall by the said name sue and be sued. (4) The Authority shall consist of the following members, namely:- 1[(a) The Chief Minister or Revenue Minister or any other Minister as chosen by the Chief Minister - Ex-officio Chairperson]1 (b) The District incharge Minister of Ramanagar - Vice Chairperson (c) The Minister for Revenue - Ex-officio Member (d) The Minister for Kannada and Culture - Ex-officio Member (e) Members of Parliament of Bengaluru Rural Lokasabha Constituency, One Rajyasabha Member who represents the Bengaluru Urban and Members of State Legislative Assembly of Yelahanka and Magadi Constituencies - Members (f) The Mayor, Bruhath Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike - Ex-officio Member (g) The Additional Chief Secretary or Principal Secretary or Secretary to Government, Revenue Department - Ex-officio Member (h) The Additional Chief Secretary or Principal Secretary or Secretary to Government, Finance Department - Ex-officio Member 7 (i) The Additional Chief Secretary or Principal Secretary or Secretary to Government, Kannada and Culture – Department - Ex-officio Member (j) 2[(j-1) (j-2) The Principal Secretary or Secretary to Government, Tourism Department The Director, Town and Country Planning Department The Chief Town Planner, Greater Bengaluru Authority Ex-officio Member –Ex-officio member; – Ex-officio member]2.
