Transfer of employees.- (1) Notwithstanding anything contained in this Act, or in any law for the time being in force, the State Government may transfer any officer or employee of the authority to the service of any local authority. (2) The State Government shall have power to issue such general or special directions as it thinks necessary for the purpose of giving due effect to transfers made under sub-section (1) and such directions shall be complied with by the local Authority concerned.
