Subordination of committees to instructions of municipal council and compliance with requisitions of municipal council.—(1) Every committee shall conform to any instruction that may from time to time be given to it by the municipal council; the municipal council may, at any time, call for any extract from any proceedings of any committee, and for any return, statement or account or report concerning or connected with any matter with which any committee has been authorised or directed to deal, and every such requisition shall, without unreasonable delay, be complied with by the committee so called upon. (2) Every order passed by a standing committee 1[x x x]1 shall be subject to such revision and open to such appeal as may be required or allowed in respect thereof by any rules that may be made by the Government in this behalf.
