Disputes between municipal councils

Disputes between municipal councils.—(1) If any dispute for the decision of which this Act does not otherwise provide exists between a municipal council and one or more other municipal bodies in regard to any matters arising under the provisions of this or any other Act and the dispute is not amicably settled— (a) the Deputy Commissioner may take cognizance of the dispute and decide it himself if the dispute is between two or more town municipal councils in the same district or a town municipal council and a 1[a town panchayat]1 in the same district;
