Temporary closure of streets.—The municipal council may, by an order in writing temporarily close any street to traffic for repair, or in order to carry out any work connected with drainage, water supply or lighting or any of the purposes of this Act: Provided that the municipal council shall with all reasonable speed cause the repair or work to be completed.
