Acquisition of rights of private persons to hold power to expel disturbers.- (1) The corporation may acquire the rights of any person to hold a private market in any place and to levy fees therein. The acquisition shall be made under the Land Acquisition Act, 1894, and such rights shall be deemed to be land for the purposes of that Act. (2) On payment by the corporation of the compensation awarded under the said Act in respect of such property and any other charges incurred in acquiring it, the rights of such person to hold such market and to levy fees therein shall vest in the corporation.
