Prohibition against use of inflammable materials for buildings, etc., without permission.- (1) No external roof, verandah, pendal or wall of a building and no shed or fence shall be constructed or re-constructed of cloth, grass, leaves, mats or other inflammable materials except with the permission of the Commissioner, nor shall any such roofs, verandah, pendal, wall, shed or fence constructed or re-constructed in any year be retained in a subsequent year, except with such permission. (2) Every permission granted under sub-section (1) shall expire at the end of the year for which it is granted.
