Whereas, it is expedient further to amend the Karnataka Municipal Corporations Act, 1976 (Karnataka Act 14 of 1977) for the purpose herein after appearing; Be it enacted by the Karnataka State Legislature in the seventy sixth year of the republic of India as follows:-
