Public water supply.- (1)The corporation shall provide a supply of wholesome drinking water within the city and shall erect sufficient stand pipes, fountains and other conveniences for the gratuitous supply of water. (2) The Commissioner may close a public hydrant or other convenience when it is no longer required for the supply of wholesome water to the public.
