Secretary to carry on correspondence.- The State Government may appoint an officer not below the rank of Group A Senior 1[scale officer of Karnataka Administrative Service or Karnataka Municipal Administrative Service]1 to be the Secretary of the Board who shall be the Chief Executive of the Board. All correspondence relating to any matter dealt with, by or under this Act or under any other law between the Board and the Government or other authority shall be conducted by the Secretary and the Secretary shall send copies of such correspondence to the Chairperson of the Board. The Secretary shall sue and be sued on behalf of the Board.
