Delegation of powers.- The Board, may, with the approval of the Government, direct that such of the powers and duties conferred or imposed upon it or under this Act as may be specified in such direction may also be exercised or performed by the Chief executive Officer subject to such restrictions and conditions as may be specified in such direction: Provided that the Chief Executive Officer shall exercise the powers and perform such of the duties specified in the direction subject to the supervision and control of the Board.
