Short title, commencement and application.- (1) This Act may be called the Karnataka Maritime Board Act, 2015. (2) It shall come into force on such date, as the State Government may, by notification, appoint. (3) It applies to all the non-major ports in the State of Karnataka to which the Indian Ports Act, 1908 applies.
