Removal of difficulties.- Notwithstanding anything contained in this Act, the Governor may, by order, make such provision as he may consider necessary or expedient,- (i) for bringing the provisions of this Act into effective operation; (ii) for continuing the enquiries and investigations against Government servants and persons referred to in item (f) of clause (12) of section 2 pending before the Government or any other authority including the Karnataka State Vigilance Commission constituted under the Karnataka State Vigilance Commission Rules, 1980 by the Lokayukta or an Upalokayukta.
