Officers to be public servants.—The Director, every Licensing Officer, all officers and persons authorised by the Director or the Licensing Officer under this Act, and all village officers and servants shall be deemed to be public servants within the meaning of section 21 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (Central Act XLV of 1860).
