Adapted by the Karnataka Adaptations of Laws Order 1973 w.e.f. 1.11.1973 * * * * NOTIFICATION Bangalore dated 16th July 1976 [No. PWD 143 EIG 74] S.O. 1843.- In excise of the powers conferred by Sub-Section (3) of Section 1 of the Karnataka Lifts Act, 1974 (Karnataka Act No. 24 of 1974) the Government of Karnataka hereby appoints the 1st August 1976 as the date on which the said Act shall come into force.
