Appointment of the Commissioner.- The State Government shall appoint, an officer not below the rank of Group – A (Senior Scale) of the State Civil Service or Chief of any local authority or any person working in the University in a post not less than that of professor who is familiar with the historical and cultural development to be the Commissioner of the Authority.
