Appointment of Commissioner.- (1) The Government shall appoint an officer not below the rank of a Deputy Secretary to Government, to be the Commissioner of the Authority . (2) The Commissioner shall receive such salary and other allowances as the Government may, from time to time, determine, and his service shall be governed under Karnataka Civil Service Rules. (3) The Government may, from time to time, grant leave of absence for such period as it thinks fit to the Commissioner.
