Short title, extent and commencement.- (1) This Act may be called the Karnataka Koragas (Prohibition of Ajalu Practice) Act, 2000. (2) It extends to the whole State of Karnataka. (3) It shall be deemed to have come into force with effect from the seventeenth day of August 2000.
