Kitturu Development Authority.- (1) As soon as may be, after the commencement of this Act, there shall be constituted for the purposes of this Act, the authority called the Kitturu Development Authority. (2) The Authority shall have its headquarters at such place as may be determined by the Authority from time to time. (3) The Authority shall be a body corporate by the name aforesaid, having perpetual succession and a common seal with power to acquire, hold and dispose of property, both movable and immovable, and enter into contract, and shall by the said name sue and be sued. (4) The Authority shall consist of the following members, namely: - 1[(a) The Chief Minister or Revenue Minister or any other Minister as chosen by the Chief Minister - Ex-officio Chairman;]1 (b) The Minister in charge of Belgaum District who shall be the Ex-officio Vice Chairman of the Authority; (c) The Minister in charge of Kannada and Culture - Ex-officio Member (d) The Minister in charge of Revenue - Ex-officio Member (e) The Minister in charge of Tourism. - Ex-officio Member (f) The Minister in charge of Public Works . - Ex-officio Member (g) The Members of the Parliament and members of the State Legislature representing a part or whole 6 of the Kitturu village whose electoral constituencies lie within its limit - Members (h) The Principal Secretary to Government, Kannada and Culture Department. - Ex-officio Member (i) The Principal Secretary to Government, Revenue Department. - Ex-officio Member (j) The Principal Secretary to Government, Finance Department. - Ex-officio Member (k) The Principal Secretary to Government, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department. - Ex-officio Member (l) The Principal Secretary to Government, Public Works Department. - Ex-officio Member (m) The Regional Commissioner, Belgaum. - Ex-officio Member (n) The Deputy Commissioner of the Belgaum District - Ex-officio Member (o) The Director, Department of Archaeology and Museums - Ex-officio Member (p) The Joint Director, Karnataka Land Army Corporation Belgaum - Ex-officio Member (q) The Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Panchayat, Belgaum. - Ex-officio Member (r) The Executive Engineer, Public Works Department, Belgaum. - Ex-officio Member (s) The Chairman, Village Panchayat,Kitturu; - Ex-officio Member (t) Not exceeding three persons nominated by the State Government as non Official Members - Members (u) Not exceeding five persons who have the experience in the history and heritage of Kitturu nominated by the State Government - Members (v) The Commissioner of the Authority . - Member - Secretary.
