The Pro-Chancellor.- (1) The Pro-chancellor shall be Appointed by the chancellor a term prescribed by the Chancellor subject to other terms and conditions as may be laid down in the statutes. (2) The Pro-Chancellor shall exercise all powers of the Chancellor in his absence and shall be assigned any additional duties with prior written Approval of the Chancellor. (3) The Pro-chancellor shall chair all the Committees, meetings and convocations in the absence of the chancellor. 11 (4) The services of the Pro-Chancellor may be terminated by the Chancellor at any point of time as he deems fit.
