Power to remove difficulties STATEMENT OF OBJECTS AND REASONS Amending Act 22 of 2015.- A policy decision has been taken by the Government of Karnataka to ensure that, all students studying in standards I to X in all schools in the state to be taught Kannada language as one of the compulsory language in all classes in a phased manner from the academic year 2015-16 and it is considered necessary to appoint an officer not below the rank of Deputy Director of Public Instructions to be the Competent Authority to implement this policy decision.
