Restriction of holding the membership of the authorities.- (1) Any member nominated to any of the authorities under this Act, shall hold office during the pleasure of the nominating authority concerned. (2) Any person nominated to any of the authorities under this Act, shall not be eligible for being nominated for a second term. (3) Any member nominated to any of the authorities shall be liable to be removed from such membership at any time by the Chancellor on the ground of mis-behaviour, misconduct or otherwise after holding an enquiry. (4) Notwithstanding anything contained in this Act but save as otherwise provided, any employee of the University, both teaching and non-teaching or administrative or any person in the management of an institution in whatever capacity shall not be eligible for nomination as member of any of the authorities under this Act.
