Power to make rules by the State Government 3 STATEMENT OF OBJECTS AND REASONS Act 20 of 2018. - Lord Udupi Krishna Educational Trust (R), has come forward to establish private University in the State. The establishment of a private university by a well-known organization would certainly help in spreading the quality education to the needy students. Keeping in view the above, it is considered necessary to provide for establishment of a private University in the name of the Jagath University by the Lord Udupi Krishna Educational Trust (R). This private university focuses on promoting and undertaking the advancement of University education in General, Technical, Health, Management, Agriculture, Horticulture, Law, Life Sciences and for the matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.
