Limitation of claims.- No claim for compensation under this Act for any damage shall be entertained after the expiration of one year from the time when the damage complained of commenced, provided that the Deputy Commissioner on sufficient cause shown to his satisfaction by the claimant for not making the claim within such period, may condone the delay, and entertain the claim.
