Punishment for wrongful seizure.- If any person exercising powers under this Act, vexatiously seizes the property of any other person on the pretext of seizing it for the reasons mentioned in section 14, he shall on conviction be punishable with imprisonment for a term which may extend to two years or with fine which may extend to five thousand rupees or with both.
